Beacon’s Black & Gold Club FAQ
Have some questions about our client inroduction program? You’ve come to the right place!
What is Beacon’s Black & Gold Club?
Beacon’s exclusive group of clients who introduce their friends and family to Beacon. It’s our small way of thanking you for sharing us with your friends. It comes with exclusive perks. You can read all about it here.
How do I introduce a friend?
We’re so glad you asked! Simply fill out the form on this page, or send the name of your friend or family member along with their phone number and email address to: [email protected]. We will take it from there!
How does this introduction program work?
After you send us your friend or family member’s information, we will reach out to them and you are in the club! You will be notified when you get the first invite to our Beacon client events. Your membership is good for the calendar year in which you introduced us.
What’s included in my membership?
Members of the club receive: the first opportunity for free tickets to all of Beacon’s special client events (like our annual Nashville Sounds game). Some events are limited seating, so receiving the first invite will give you a chance to get on the list first. We hope you’ll also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you have helped your friend or family member get one step closer to creating a plan to reach their dream retirement.
Who can I introduce?
We are looking for people just like you! Is there someone in your life who is:
- retired or close to retirement?
- losing money on their investments?
- concerned about outliving their money?
- recently divorced or widowed?
- dissatisfied with their current broker or advisor?
- unsure about long-term care costs?
- seeking a second opinion of their retirement/investment strategies?
- concerned about taxes eating up their hard-earned savings?
- recently received an inheritance and is unsure what to do with it?
- just needing to ask some financial questions?
Really anyone with who you want to share the financial confidence you’ve found here at Beacon.
What conditions must be met for me to be in the club?”
It’s pretty easy: Your friend or family member must meet with a Beacon advisor in order to be in the club. That includes a phone call, Zoom, or in-person visit. The club resets every calendar year. So, in-order-to renew your membership for the new calendar year, just refer someone new!
How do I know if my referral has met with you?
Don’t worry, we will take care of this for you! You will be notified via email and snail mail when your referral’s meeting has been completed and you’re an official member of the club.
Do I get more for referring more people?
You just need to one referral per calendar year to meet with a Beacon advisor in-order-to be a club member for that calendar year. Whether you send us two or ten referrals, we are so grateful for the trust you place in our firm. Just give Rachel a call if you aren’t sure if you have given your yearly referral or if you’re wondering if your referral has completed their meeting. You membership is good for the calendar year in which your referral meets with an advisor.
