What is Beacon’s Black & Gold Club?

Beacon’s exclusive group of clients who refer friends and family to meet with a Beacon financial advisor. It’s our small way of thanking you for sharing us with your friends. It comes with exclusive perks and special events. You can read all about it here.

We’re so glad you asked! Simply fill out the form on this page, or send the name of your friend or family member along with their phone number and email address to: [email protected]. We will take it from there!

How does this referral program work?

After you send us your referral, we will reach out to them. Once they meet with one of our advisors, you are in the club! You will be notified via email and snail mail upon your entry into the club. Your membership is good for the calendar year in which your referral meets with us.

What’s included in my membership?

Members of the club receive: An invitation to attend an exclusive member-only dinner event that only happens once a year, plus first opportunity for free tickets to all of Beacon’s special events (like our annual Nashville Sounds game). We hope you’ll also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you have helped your friend or family member get one step closer to creating a plan to reach their dream retirement.

What conditions must be met for me to be in the club?”

It’s pretty easy: Your friend or family member must meet with a Beacon advisor in order to be in the club. That includes a phone call, Zoom, or in-person visit. The club resets every calendar year. So, in-order-to renew your membership for the new calendar year, just refer someone new!

How do I know if my referral has met with you?

Don’t worry, we will take care of this for you! You will be notified via email and snail mail when your referral’s meeting has been completed and you’re an official member of the club.

Do I get more for referring more people?

You just need to one referral per calendar year to meet with a Beacon advisor in-order-to be a club member for that calendar year. Whether you send us two or ten referrals, we are so grateful for the trust you place in our firm. Just give Rachel a call if you aren’t sure if you have given your yearly referral or if you’re wondering if your referral has completed their meeting. How will I receive my notice that I am in the club?

You will be notified via email and snail mail when you are an official member of the club. The letter will tell you which of your referrals have met with us.

Is there a limit to the number of people I can refer?

No, you can refer as many friends and family members as you want. That might work in your favor, too, because you never know everyone’s schedule and who can actually meet with us! If one of your referrals is referred in a previous year but meets in the following year, you are in the club. If you refer multiple people in one year and they all meet in that same year, you will need a new referral for the following year.

Does my club membership expire?

Yes, your membership is good for the calendar year in which your referral meets with an advisor. Your membership will expire each calendar year.
